Brass: Another look

My friend Kirsty Farnfeld in England was sharing her recent cleaning chore accomplished with leftover lemon rinds…nothing like having a tastey lemony treat around to reward you for doing some catch-up cleaning of your brass collection!

Kirsty says when she lived in the Middle East,  “these were pocket money cost and everywhere you looked so I collected a lot!”

Lemon curd aftermath: brass cleaning using the leftover lemon rinds. Much faster and easier than brasso, kinder to hands and environment, no lemon goes to waste. Just sprinkle salt on the lemon skin and run over the brass. Rinse with water and dry with a cloth or old towel.

Some before & after shots:

Thank you so much, Kirsty, for sharing your talents and knowledge once again!
